CLARION, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team opened the fall dual season with a 7-0 win over Clarion, Friday afternoon. To avoid the incoming rain, the teams started the match with singles and played 10-point games in lieu of full sets.

Maddie Delisio (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin High School) won in straight-sets, 10-2, 10-2 at No. 6 singles while
Alese Rinker (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) won 10-1, 10-5 at No. 4 singles.
Juliana Kim (Ridgefield, NJ/Ridgefield Memorial High School) took the first set 10-5 at No. 5 singles before battling to a 12-10 win in the second set for the match win.

Alyssa Mazurek (McAdoo, PA/Hazleton Area) won 10-5, 10-7 at No. 3 and
Lily Sierka () won 10-7, 10-3 at No. 2.
Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) dropped her first set at No. 1 singles, 10-6, but came back for a 10-6 win in the second set and sealed the win with a 10-2 win in the third.

Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) and
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) handled their opponents at No. 1, 6-0 while
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC) and
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) handed their opponents at No. 2 doubles the same fate with a 6-0 win. Rinker and Mazurek picked up their second wins of the day with a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles.

The Huskies continue their trip in western Pennsylvania win a match against California (Pa.) at 10:00 a.m. and Seton Hill at 3:00 p.m. in California, Pa.
