The men's cross country team is set to compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Cross Countries Championships in Ediboro on Saturday morning.
The Huskies will have six returning runners from last year's team competing in the championships. They placed 10th in last year's championship meet.
This will not be the first time Bloomsburg has run at Edinboro's course. They ran in the Doug Watts Open and placed eighth with
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) being their top runner. He earned a career-best time of 20:23.4 in the 6k and placed 20th at the meet. Tepper placed 73rd at the championships.
One of the other runners that is returning to the championships is Braedon Arnold. Arnold placed 115th with a final time of 29:20.9, which is his career-best time.Â
Salahudinn Abdul-Hamid (State College, Pa./State College Area),
Zach Ryan (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham),
Aaron Simpson (/) and
Colin Snyder (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) will also return for the Huskies from last year's team.
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) will also run in his first PSAC Championships with Bloomsburg tomorrow with
Rex Farr (/) and
Brenden Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) making their championships debut.Â
The men's race will start at 11 a.m.
