JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team fell on the road to Pitt-Johnstown, 99-71, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest inside the Sports Center on Tuesday night.

Bloomsburg (2-5, 0-2 PSAC) shot 42.9 percent (27-for-63) from the floor while going 7-for-17 (41.2 percent) from beyond the arc. Pitt-Johnstown (7-3, 1-1) recorded 41-for-69 shooting (59.4 percent) while out-rebounding the Huskies 45-24.

Kodi Johnson (Folcroft, Pa./Phelps School) led the scoring for Bloomsburg, ending the night with a career-high 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
George Sabatini (Mountain Top, Pa./Holy Redeemer) and
Kaaba Murray (Harrisburg, Pa./Skyline Prep) each finished the game with 12 points. Sabatini went 5-for-10 from the floor with four rebounds while Murray went 5-for-7 with five steals and two assists.

The Mountain Cats grabbed an early hold of the momentum in the bout, scoring 12 unanswered before the first media timeout. Following the media timeout, Sabatini got the maroon and gold on the board with a made free throw.
Chase Smucker (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) drained a three-pointer a minute later for the Huskies' first basket from beyond the arc. For the remainder of the half, Bloomsburg and Pitt-Johnstown went back and forth as the Mountain Cats took a 50-36 lead going into the break.

Sabatini opened the scoring in the second half, draining a three-pointer on the first possession. The sophomore scored the Huskies first seven points of the half. Bloomsburg was unable to complete a comeback as UPJ held on to take a 99-71 victory.

The Huskies return home to Nelson Field House on Saturday, December 21 as they host IUP at 3 p.m.
