LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team dropped its season finale to Lock Haven, 83-63, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at the Thomas Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

Matt Bengel (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) posted a team-high 14 points while notching seven rebounds and three assists.
Louie Wild (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic) finished in the double digits as well with 11 points. Wild also recorded a team-high five assists. Overall, the Huskies saw 11 different players record points in the contest.

Lock Haven (14-12, 11-9 PSAC) set the tempo early, as Isaiah Stewart drained a three-pointer 12 seconds into the game. Wild drove down the court and responded with a step-back jumper for Bloomsburg (6-22, 5-16). After a series of missed shots from the Bald Eagles,
Danny Bruce (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) sank a triple to give the Huskies a 5-3 lead. Another string of missed shots from either side saw the ball eventually end up in the hands of
Sean Haus (Southampton,Pa./William Tennent), who hit a three to advance the maroon and gold's advantage.

The home team slowly managed to knot the score at 8-8 before a 13-4 run put Lock Haven ahead, 21-12, halfway through the frame. Despite several scoring bursts from the Huskies in an attempt to level the score, the Bald Eagles led, 35-25, at the half.

The second half started much like the first, with Stewart sinking an early three-pointer. Lock Haven jumped to a 17-point lead after an 8-0 run. A pair of made free throws from Bengel put an end to the run, allowing the Huskies to trade points with the Bald Eagles for the next several possessions.

Lock Haven took control and advanced its lead to as high as 26 points with six minutes to play. Bloomsburg managed to cut down on its deficit before falling in the final game of the season, 83-63.

Matt Bengel (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) finishes his career 21st in school history in points with 1,149. Bengel tallied 125 steals in 99 games, placing 14th in school history.

Louie Wild (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic) sits just behind Bengel in 22nd on the Huskies' all-time scoring list with 1,136 points. Wild ends his career in sixth in career three-pointers made with 163 while also tying Bob Coppolino (1987-91) for tenth in assists with 279.

Jagger Dressler (Danville, Pa./Danville) finishes his time in the maroon and gold with 352 points, 215 rebounds, 86 assists and 54 steals. In two seasons with the Huskies,
Tony Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) tallied 306 points, 113 rebounds, 62 assists, 33 steals and 11 blocks.
Sean Haus (Southampton,Pa./William Tennent) ends his career with 92 points, 46 rebounds, nine steals, seven blocks and seven assists.
