Dany Bruce finished the contest with a team-high 15 points while going 7-for-14 from the floor. Matt Bengel (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) finished closely behind with 14 points and hauled in eight rebounds. Louie Wild (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic) knocked down a trio of three-pointers en route to a 13-point performance. The senior guard also garnered six rebounds and a team-high five assists. Tony Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) went 5-for-10 from the floor and posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

A three-pointer from Mansfield opened the scoring early before Bengel responded with a three of his own to tie the game just over a minute into the contest. This started an early back and forth that saw the two teams trade a one possession lead four times over the opening six minutes of the contest.

A Mountaineers' three-pointer gave the home team the first multi-possession lead of the contest, however the Huskies' Xion Nichols (Woodland, Ca./State College Area) pulled Bloomsburg back within two with a triple of his own.

With eight minutes to play, Wild tied the game at 24-24 with a layup before putting the Huskies ahead with a three-pointer. Bloomsburg and Mansfield them went shot-for-shot to exchange the lead five times over the next two minutes. The maroon and gold came out of the back-and forth with the lead and held on to take a 43-39 lead into the locker room at half time.

The second half saw the Huskies go on an early, 9-2 run to take a nine-point lead in the opening three minutes. A seven-point swing for the Mountaineers saw Mansfield level the score at 52 apiece. From there, Bloomsburg regained control of the lead and held on to the lead all the way through to the end.
