INDIANA, Pa. – The Huskies' run in the 2025 NCAA Women's Tennis Championship Tournament ended on Monday as Bloomsburg fell to IUP, 4-0.
The Huskies qualified for the NCAA Tournament with an at-large bid as the No. 7 seed in the Atlantic Region for the first time since 2010. Bloomsburg opened the tournament at No. 2 seed, IUP, on Monday. IUP won the PSAC Title last week at Bloomsburg after defeating Slippery Rock in the championship match.

Bloomsburg and IUP faced off for the first time this season and the Crimson Hawks got out to an early lead with the doubles point win. IUP swept the doubles matches for the 1-0 lead.

IUP took a 2-0 match lead with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. The Crimson Hawks extended their lead to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.

Jennifer McDonald jumped out to a 6-3 lead at No. 3 singles and
Lily Sierka () battled back to tie No. 6 singles with a 6-3 win in set two after falling in the opening set, 6-3.

IUP won the match with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles. McDonald led 3-2 in the second set when the match was called.

The Huskies finished the season with a 13-4 overall record after claiming the top seed and the PSAC East regular season title.
