MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team fell to Millersville, 78-53, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) contest inside the Pucillo Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

Three Huskies finished in double digits as Bloomsburg (5-13, 2-10 PSAC) went 20-for-51 (39.2 percent) from the floor.
Ries Naugle (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) led the maroon and gold with 13 points while going 6-for-9. The redshirt-freshman also notched two steals and two assists.
Thaddeus Lee (Lancaster, Pa./Mercersburg Academy) went 5-for-10 on the day, tallying 12 points with a pair of threes. Lee also led the team with five rebounds.
Xion Nichols (Woodland, Ca./State College Area) went a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the line to finish with 11 points.

Millersville (13-6, 8-4) opened the scoring with a pair of made free throws from Saraj Ali. The Huskies responded on the following possession with a three-pointer. Ali tied the game with another free throw before Bloomsburg regained the lead with a layup from
Camden Glass (Beaver Falls, Pa./Beaver Falls). Glass' layup kicked off a 6-0 run that put the Huskies ahead 9-3.

After the score moved to 14-6, Millersville went on a 24-point run over the next ten minutes to turn the tide the Huskies and take a 30-14 lead. Bloomsburg then traded points with Millersville until the end of the half, trailing 38-15 at halftime.

The Marauders kept the maroon and gold at bay at the start off the second half, extending its lead to a much as 20 points. Trailing 54-36 with 13:24 remaining, Bloomsburg cut into the lead with a nine-point runs to cut the lead in half. The Huskies were unable to complete the comeback, falling 78-53 to the Marauders.

Bloomsburg is back in action on Thursday, January 29 as they host Shepherd at 7:30 p.m.
