It was the first pick-six of Turner's career and his second interception of the season. The pick-six was the first for the Huskies since Aaron Trumino returned an inception for a touchdown against Stonehill on September 7, 2019.
After Bloomsburg's opening possession ended with a 53-yard punt from
Cole Richards (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) that pinned Shepherd at its own 1-yard line, the Rams were unable to move the ball out of the shadow of their goal line. Turner stepped in front of a pass and returned it for the score, giving the Huskies a 7-0 lead following
Peter Kashynski's (Falls Church, Va./Justice) extra point with 10:00 remaining in the first quarter.
Shepherd answered on its ensuing possession as Michael Hardyway connected with Carrington Nickens-Yzer for a 50-yard touchdown pass, tying the game at 7-7 with 8:20 remaining in the opening period.

Zimmerman added a 7-yard rush on another third-and-3 to move the Huskies inside the Shepherd 30-yard line.
The drive stalled at the Rams' 23-yard line, but Kashynski connected on a 40-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 14-10 with 8:38 remaining in the half.

Etheridge rushed for seven yards to the Shepherd 8-yard line before Clancy converted a third-and-1 to give the Huskies a first-and-goal at the 3. Zimmerman eventually jumped over the line with the ball across the goal line from one yard out on third down, and Kashynski's extra point gave Bloomsburg a 17-14 lead with 42 seconds remaining before halftime.
Shepherd attempted to answer before the break, advancing into Bloomsburg territory, but
Nahzier Booker (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) broke up a Hardyway pass that
Garrett Garcia (Catawissa, Pa./Southern Columbia) intercepted and returned 14 yards, preserving the Huskies' three-point advantage heading into the locker room.
Bloomsburg continued to control the tempo coming out of halftime, marching deep into Shepherd territory on its first possession of the third quarter. Clancy carried the ball on seven of the first nine plays as the Huskies moved from their own 44-yard line to the Rams' 5.
The Huskies converted three third-down opportunities during the drive, but Shepherd came up with a special teams play when Reggie Snowden returned a blocked 22-yard field goal attempt 78 yards for a touchdown. The score put the Rams back in front, 21-17, with 4:46 remaining in the third quarter.

The Huskies capitalized with another lengthy possession, using 10 plays to move 40 yards while taking 5:51 off the clock. Clancy converted a third-and-3 with a 7-yard run and later picked up eight yards on third-and-6 to keep the drive alive. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against Shepherd moved Bloomsburg to the Rams' 20-yard line.
