Four Huskies Earn CSC Academic All-District for Women's Basketball

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four members of the Bloomsburg women's basketball team received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District distinction as announced on Tuesday. The four selections featured fifth-year senior Ava Stevenson (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), juniors Alison Hatajik (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg) and Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and sophomore Maddison Maynard (Lansford, Pa./Panther Valley).

Stevenson earned her second all-district nod after her third season with Bloomsburg. The elementary education major averaged 8.2 points per game while making 38 threes on the season. She appeared in all 30 games while starting in 23 of them. 

Hatajik, a supply chain management major, got her second all-district recognition after leading the team in points (313), rebounds (216) and blocks (21). She was also top 10 in total rebounds and rebounds per game (7.2) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). 

Leszcynski, a middle education math major, is the third to earn their second all-district recognition. She led the team in assists per game with (3.8) and was top five in total assists (107) in the PSAC. Leszcynski mainly conducted the offense while playing the most minutes on the team. She also led the team in steals while placing 11th in the PSAC in steals per game (2.1).

Maynard gained her first academic all-district nod after having a breakout season for Bloomsburg. The digital forensics and cybersecurity/exercise science major was second on the team in points (293), rebounds (216) and rebounds per game (6.1). She boosted her points per game, doubling them from last year by averaging 9.8. 

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve – playing in at least 90 percent or starting in at least 66 percent of the team's contests.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
