Â
A pair of goals from
Marykate Sitko (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) and

Delaney Fox (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) and
Emily Simpson (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic). Wilmington knotted the score at 4-4 with under two minutes to play in the opening frame.
Â
The maroon and gold opened the second quarter with another quick goal, as Sitko notched her second of the contest 44 seconds in. Wilmington then took its first lead of the contest, scoring three in a row to make it 7-5. A goal from
Ava Corvino (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) at 9:23 pulled the Huskies within one before another three-goal stretch from the visitors made it 10-6.
Reiley Knize (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and
Payton Bettys (Palm, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) both scored late in the half to make it 10-8 heading into halftime.
Â
Bloomsburg scored early into the quarter yet again, as Guzylak scored 30 seconds into the third off a pass from
Brianna Austin (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh). The Wildcats answered just 39 second later to reestablish a multi-goal lead. Guzylak completed her hattrick 51 seconds after the Wilmington goal to keep Bloomsburg within one. WU pulled away in the third quarter, scoring four unanswered to take a 15-10 lead.
Â
Goals from
Emily Simpson (North Wales, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) and
Reiley Knize (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) were not enough to mount a comeback for the maroon and gold, as Wilmington took the victory, 19-12.
Â
Three Huskies finished the day with three points as Guzylak tallied a hattrick and Simpson and Sitko each posted two goals and an assist.
