BLOOMSBURG, PA. – A walk-off single from Jace Jarmon (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Central) lifted the Bloomsburg baseball team to an 11-10 victory over Lock Haven in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon.

Bloomsburg (24-14) tallied 11 hits on the day from six different batters in the 24th win of the season. Judah Miller (Halifax, Pa./Halifax) and Jarmon combined for six hits on the day as the pair each recorded three hits. Miller went 3-for-4 on the day with two runs while Jarmon went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Drew Balestrini (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

Grant Russo (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area) posted a pair of stolen bases bring his season total to 31 and tie John Stillo's single-season record set in 1997. The centerfielder also went 1-for-2 with two RBIs while drawing two walks.

The game remained scoreless through the first inning and a half before Bloomsburg broke open the scoring in the bottom of the second. Anthony Trommer (Trevose, Pa./Neshaminy) reached first on a fielder's choice before advancing to second on a balk. Trommer then stole third before an errant throw from the catcher got past the third baseman and allowed the left fielder to score the first run of the game.

Miller drew a four-pitch walk before a single from Jarmon moved him to second. Russo made it 2-0 for the Huskies as he sent an RBI-single to centerfield. The runners advanced on a wild pitch during the next at bat, bringing Jarmon in for the third run of frame.

A stolen base from Russo and a walk to Matt Freda (Lafayette, N.J./High Point Regional) put base runners on the corners for Dylan Hirsh (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury). A catcher's balk awarded first base to Hirsh, while simultaneously scoring Russo to make it 4-0.

Justin Weaver (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) battled his way to a walk and loaded the bases before back-to-back wild pitches advanced the lead to 6-0. Balestrini then used his second plate appearance of the inning to drive a double down the right-field line and advance the Huskies' lead to 7-0.

Lock Haven (6-33) answered in the top of the fourth, scoring six runs on six hits to pull within one.

The bottom of the fourth saw Balestrini and Trommer notch back-to-back doubles to give the maroon and gold a two-run lead.

Bloomsburg's offensive posted two more runs in the eighth as Miller led off the inning with a double. A bunt to the pitcher from Jarmon moved Miller to third before he was brought home on a sacrifice-fly from Russo. Freda then singled to center field to score Jarmon for the tenth Huskies' run.

The Bald Eagles tied the game in the top of the ninth as a pair of two-out home runs scored four to keep LHU alive.

The Huskies saw Trommer become the first base runner in the bottom of the ninth as the sophomore drew a walk. A wild pitch moved him to second before a single to the shortstop from Miller put runners on the corners with two outs. Jarmon then came up clutch, walking off the game with a single straight up the middle to give Bloomsburg the 11-10 win.
