PSAC East Pitcher of the Week - April 21, 2014

2014 (Game-by-Game): One of the top pitchers in the Atlantic Region, finishing the year with a 6-5 record and a 1.67 ERA with 48 strikeouts and only nine walks in a PSAC-high 86.0 innings of work after nine complete games including eight straight to end the season. Finishes his career among the all-time Bloomsburg leaders in innings pitched (245.2, first); wins (17, third); complete games (16, third); ERA (3.19, fifth) and appearances (43, seventh)....Earned First Team All-PSAC following the season and became the first Daktronics All-Atlantic Region first team pick in school history...Also captured second team All-Region accolades from the NCBWA and ABCA...Worked all nine innings of PSAC Tournament first round game vs. Pitt-Johnstown, suffering hard-luck loss after allowing two runs on eight hits while not walking a batter and striking out two, throwing 76 of 109 pitches for strikes...Took over career lead in Bloomsburg innings pitched with seventh consecutive complete game, helping Huskies to 7-4 win at Mansfield allowing only one earned run, did not walk a batter and struck out five (4/25)...Made it back-to-back complete game shutouts with a 1-0 victory at regionally-ranked East Stroudsburg, scattering five hits with three strikeouts while walking only one and allowing just one base runner past second base. Named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week following the performance (4/18)...Tossed a complete game shutout for 1-0 victory at Kutztown, walking only one while striking out three (4/12)...Worked six innings while allowing only one earned run at No. 21 Millersville (4/6)...Allowed only one earned run in a complete game victory vs. West Chester, needing only 79 pitches while striking out seven and walking one (3/27)...Twirled second complete game victory of the season in 7-1 win vs. Lock Haven, not allowing an earned run while scattering four hits with no walks and four strikeouts (3/22)...Named to Builder Invitational All-Tournament Team following season-opening trip (2/23)...Started season with stellar outing vs. Kutztown, tossing a complete game while allowing no earned runs in 9-1 victory. Finished with a career-high nine strikeouts while walking only one batter in the effort (2/22).

2013 (Game-by-Game): Pitched 6.1 innings while giving up no earned runs to earn the win over East Stroudsburg (4/22)... Pitched a complete game while allowing one earned run in a win over Shippensburg (4/14)... Threw five scoreless innings and struck out four in an opening day loss to Apprentice (2/21)

2012 (Game-by-Game): Went the distance against East Stroudsburg tossing a complete game and giving up one earned run (4/7)...Defeated Shippensburg by tossing five innings and striking out two batters (3/31)...Picked up the win over Winston-Salem State by tossing five scoreless innings, striking out four batters and allowing just two hits (3/12)...Pitched one scoreless inning against Philadelphia striking out one batter (3/10)...Threw six innings against IUP, giving up two earned runs and striking out three batters (3/3).

2011 (Game-by-Game): Finished the year with a record of 6-2…Led the team in strikeouts (43) and innings pitched (60.2)…Threw 5.2 innings without an earned run in a PSAC playoff game against IUP (5/12)...Pitched 6.1 innings to earn the win against Kutztown (4/29)…Picked up a win by throwing season-high eight strikeouts and giving up three earned runs against West Chester (3/26)…Pitched five innings with four strikeouts, and gave up only one earned run in the 13-3 victory over Young-Harris (3/13)…Pitched eight innings and gave up only one run and five hits to earn a complete game over Carson-Newman (3/8).
