Nick Eversole will begin his second season as a member of the Bloomsburg University coaching staff in 2015. Eversole coached his first season in 2014 after playing for the Huskies from 2010-2013 as a catcher and first baseman. He assists head coach Mike Collins with the offense, on and off-campus recruiting, and is the catching coach for the Huskies.
Eversole was a three-year starter for the Huskies behind the plate and at first base during his four years in maroon and gold. He finished his playing career with over 100 career hits, seven home runs and threw out over 25 percent of base stealers. He was an All-PSAC selection in 2011 while being named team captain and team Most Valuable Player in 2013.
The Huskies won 28 games during the 2014 season, third-most in the program’s history and most since 1999, while also winning a school record 20 conference games. The Huskies offense hit .302 for the season and .310 in conference play. Of the 16 PSAC teams, the Huskies offense ranked in the top half of nearly every offensive category including: runs, hits, doubles, runs batted in, total bases, hit by pitch, stolen bases, batting average and on-base percentage.
The Bloomsburg catching staff was one of only four teams in the PSAC to throw out at least 25 percent of base stealers during the 2014 campaign as they caught 39 percent to rank second in the conference during the season including 40 percent during conference play, a figure that led the PSAC.

The Huskies had five all-conference selections in 2014 including catcher/designated hitter and PSAC East Freshman of the Year Damin Muth.
