Courtney Noll (Fretz) begins her 15th season as assistant coach for the Huskies' field hockey team in 2025. During her first 14 seasons, the program has gone 149-91 and has advanced to the postseason ten times.
While at Bloomsburg, she also serves as the student-athlete advocate. She has also had leadership experience as a camp counselor for three summers in Trexlertown, Pa. and also served in a Dominican Republic Mission trip.
Noll came to Bloomsburg from Alvernia University where she served as the assistant field hockey coach for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. While assisting at Alvernia, Noll completed her Master’s degree and served as a graduate assistant for intramurals and recreation. A 2009 graduate from Miami University in Ohio, she was a four-year scholarship field hockey player for the RedHawks.
A native of Oley, Pa., Noll had her most success, statistically, during her freshman year where she scored five goals and had two assists. She was also named Player of the Week in the Mid-American Conference twice as a freshman and named to the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament team. For her career at Miami (OH), she played in 59 games, recording 13 goals, six assists, and notching 32 points overall.
Outside of her playing career at Miami University, she was actively involved as a field hockey camp coach and the U.S. Field Hockey Futures Program, a young athlete field hockey development program located in Oxford, Ohio.
In November of 2010, Noll became involved with the X-Calibur field hockey club located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. While at X-Calibur, she has coached for ages 14-19 academy teams, as well as assisted in coaching the U16 travel team.
Noll and her husband, Kevin and their son Grayson, born in 2016, reside in Bloomsburg.
