Stephen Pribble joined the Bloomsburg football staff in May of 2022 as the quarterbacks and wide receivers coach and was then promoted to the offensive coordinator in January 2023.

Pribble helped guide Matthew Bowes to his first All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East honor in his first season with the Huskies. Despite a season-ending injury, Bowes had 249 receiving yards on 18 catches and three touchdowns in a run-heavy offense. Bowes had at least one catch in seven of his eight games and a touchdown in back-to-back contests against Edinboro and Clarion. Bowes had a career-best 56 yards on three catches against Shippensburg. The receiving core for Bloomsburg had 1,551 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, while the trio of quarterbacks went 122-for-227 and averaged 141.0 yards per game.

Before joining the Huskies, Pribble spent four seasons as the Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator for Alfred University. While at AU, Pribble was responsible for all phases of the offense and had complete oversight of the offensive coaches. He guided six players to All-Empire 8 honors in his final season with the Saxons in 2021 and had 17 total All-Empire 8 honorees during his tenure. Pribble helped to coach two All-ECAC First Team honorees during his time at Alfred and won the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl in 2018. In 2018, Nas Smith earned All-ECAC First Team, D3Football.Com All-East Region First Team, and D3Football.com Honorable Mention All-America honors as a running back for the Saxons. Alfred consistently ranked in the top 20 in rushing offense during Pribble’s time as offensive coordinator.

Before joining Saxon staff, Pribble spent a season as the offensive quality control and assistant offensive line coach at NCAA Division I (FCS) Fordham University. He guided the offense to a third-place finish in the Patriot League in total offense (371.7 yards per game), passing offense (238.9 yards per game), and team passing efficiency (124.11).

While at Fordham, Pribble developed two Rams that would eventually compete in the National Football League. Running back Chase Edmonds, a 2018 graduate, was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round (134 overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. Offensive Tackle Anthony Coyle, a 2018 graduate, signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent following the 2018 draft. As of the 2022 season, Edmonds is currently a member of the Denver Broncos.

Before Fordham, Pribble served as the Offensive Coordinator at PSAC East foe Lock Haven University in 2015 and 2016. While coaching the Bald Eagles, Pribble gave new life to a struggling offensive unit and helped shape it into one of the premier threats in the PSAC. He coached one AP Little All-America Third Team member in 2016 when wide receiver Shawn Seif became the only wide receiver to record over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season in school history. Four other LHU players landed on the East All-PSAC First Team during Pribble’s tenure.

Also, with the Bald Eagles, Pribble’s offense set new school records in total offensive yards during back-to-back seasons (4,603 in 2015; 4,954 in 2016). The offense also set new school marks in passing yards (3,158) and points in a season (323) during its’ 2016 campaign.

Pribble coached the only quarterback in LHU history to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a season when Caleb Walton threw for 3,115 yards (school record) during the 2016 season. Walton went on to set records in passing touchdowns in a season (23), average passing yards per attempt in a season (8.2), passing yards per game in a season (283.2), total offensive yards in a season (3,421), total offensive yards per game in a season (311.0) and touchdowns responsible for in a season (26) - a feat he completed in both 2015 and 2016.

Before Lock Haven, Pribble was the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterback and Wide Receivers Coach at Urbana University during the 2014 season. The Blue Knights’ passing offense ranked number two in the Mountain East Conference in 2014, averaging 289.6 yards per game, while tight end La’Velle Spivey became the first player in school history to earn All-Region honors.

Before Urbana, he served as the Pass-Game Coordinator, Quarterbacks, and Wide Receivers Coach at Manchester University in North Manchester, IN, from 2011 to 2013.

Pribble served as the Wide Receivers Coach at Alfred University during the 2009 and 2010 seasons when the Saxons won back-to-back Empire 8 Championships. AU advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals during the 2010 season – a feat that was unmatched by the program until the 2016 season. Pribble helped generate two All-America wide receivers, Jared Manzer and Ryan Thon, who were named AFCA First Team All-America and D3Football.com Honorable Mention, respectively.

Pribble earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Lock Haven University in 2008. He completed his master's degree in education in 2011 at Alfred University.
