Ken Broomer enters his fifth season as an assistant coach on the Huskies sideline in 2014-15. Prior to his arrival at Bloomsburg, he was an assistant at Dickinson College where the Red Devils posted a 12-12 record.
Before Dickinson, he was an assistant for four years at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Over that period, the team set multiple school records and compiled a record of 66-39. Three players scored over 1,000 points during those four years and one player was a Jostens Award Finalist and two-time conference scholar-athlete of the year.
Broomer is a graduate of Virginia Tech and received master’s degrees from the Naval Post Graduate School and Tulane University. He has also worked camps at Villanova University, the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Hawaii.
