As primarily the jumps/multis coach for the Huskies, Stam has coached seven conference champions between the high, triple,?and long jumps, seven USTFCCCA All-Academic honorees and has led jumpers to four NCAA Championship appearances in the long and triple jumps. Two of those national-level appearances resulted in All-American finishes for a pair of horizontal jumpers (Kaylee Caruso in 2017 and Kirsten O’Malley in 2019). Four athletes have set new school records under Stam’s instruction, and in the past twelve seasons of both indoor and outdoor competition, Bloomsburg has seen 54 PSAC podium finishes in the jump/multi events.

Stam stepped in to begin coaching the sprints and hurdles groups in addition to the jumpers in 2021, leading more Huskies to success at both the conference and regional levels. Over the past five seasons, 12 individual sprinters/hurdlers and 11 relay teams have stood on the PSAC podium. Sarah Castronova (open 400m, DMR – 400m leg) and Delaney Porter (DMR – 400m leg) earned All-Region recognition in 2021 and 2022.

Stam graduated from Susquehanna University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in elementary?education and a minor in English.? She also holds a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University – Irvine. ?A four-year member of the indoor and outdoor track & field?teams at Susquehanna, Stam competed in a wide range of events including the jumps, hurdles, and heptathlon.?A two-year captain, Stam was a three-time school record holder in the indoor & outdoor long?jumps and indoor triple jump and was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree during her senior year.

Coach Stam first fell in love with coaching during her time volunteering for her former high school track team in her hometown of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.?While living in Wellsboro, Stam spearheaded and organized both summer and winter track and field programs for local athletes.
