Eoin Hurley begins his second season on the Bloomsburg University men's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant after a standout four-year career at Division II Montana State.
While at Montana State, Hurley set the school record for most career shutouts (12) and was a two-time Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference selection. He graduated in May of 2015 with a bachelor's degree in health and human performance.
Hurley also served as a coach with a number of different teams in Billings, Montana, including a stint as the head coach for The Edge Soccer Academy's U14 Girls' team from August 2014 to January 2016. His most recent job was as the associate head coach for the Edge Soccer Academy's U18 Girls' team from January to May of 2016. Hurley was also an assistant coach at Billings Central High School in 2015 and for the Magic City Soccer Club's U13 Boys' team in 2013.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Hurley has achieved his NSCAA Level VI, Advanced National diploma, his NSCAA goalkeeping diploma (levels 1, 2, and 3), and his USSF 'D' licence.
Prior to coming to the United States, Hurley attended University College Dublin and received a degree in health and performance science. He played for the Bray Wanderers U21 team in the League of Ireland from 2009 to 2011 and, prior to that, for the Cherry Orchard Football Club.
