PJ Steiner earned his master's of education degree in Sports Administration from Millersville University in 2020 while serving as the Elizabethtown College Blue Jays assistant men's soccer coach during the 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons under the program's all-time winningest coach and eighth most winningest coach in all NCAA divisions, Skip Roderick. During his time at Elizabethtown College the keepers decreased their GAA from 1.23 in 2018 to 0.91 in 2021. He also increased the save percentage from 72% in 2018 to 82% in 2021.
 
While studying for his first master’s degree at Bloomsburg University in Exercise Science, Steiner was an Athletic Director at Millville, Jr./Sr. High School where he directed the first ever State Championship Boys Soccer team, a District IV Championship Boy’s Basketball Team, 3rd Place District IV Girl’s Basketball Team and a 2nd place District IV Boy’s Baseball team. He also served as the Mid-Penn Conference Basketball Chairman in the 2018-2019 season.
 
Steiner also had a brief stint at Penn State Hazleton where he was able to assist in helping the Nittany Lions to their second-straight PSUAC Final appearance. While at PSU Hazleton, he coached a PSUAC First Team Goalkeeper, Brandon Yocum as a freshman and four other PSUAC Conference players. He also coached one USCAA First Team Player.
 
Steiner played at Misericordia University and earned his bachelor’s degree in 2016. He was a four-year letter winner and helped the Cougars to an ECAC Championship, three MAC Freedom Finals and two NCAA tournament appearances.
