Kathleen Mirgon is in her first season at Bloomsburg and will serve as the graduate assistant coach. Mirgon graduated from Shippensburg University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism with a concentration in public relations. She also had a dual minor in exercise science and coaching. She was a member of the Tau Kappa Athletic Honors Society.
A native of Chapin, South Carolina, Mirgon was a four-year member of the Shippensburg women’s lacrosse team and was invited to participate in the AIST Amsterdam Lacrosse Tour as she represented the USA in both Amsterdam and Paris. During the summers, Mirgon coached the SWAX Lacrosse League, a group of more than 30 girls ages 12-18, after co-starting the league in an effort to engage more individuals in the sport.
