Jake Harner joins the Bloomsburg men's and women's swimming coaching staff in 2016-17 after a standount career with the Huskies. He will work, primarily, with the breaststrokers, IMers, and sprint freestylers.
Harner had a brilliant four-year career with the Huskies from 2013 to 2016. He was a five-time All-American, a two-time PSAC champion, and was a 2016 US Olympic Trials qualifier. Harner was the 2013 PSAC Freshman of the Year, the 2013 BU Underclass Athlete of the Year, and the 2016 BU Senior Athlete of the Year. He was named the team’s Swimmer of the Year in 2013 and holds team records in the 200 and 400 IM, the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and the 200 and 400 medley relays.
