Sarah Gomish begins her first season as the graduate assistant coach of the women's volleyball program in the fall of 2019.

After playing three seasons at Lock Haven, Gomish played her final collegiate year with the Huskies during the program's inaugural season in 2018 and provided tremendous leadership and experience for the young roster. Gomish led the Huskies in kills with 328 (3.49 per set) and points with 349 (3.71 per set) while ranking second on the team with 289 digs (3.07 per set). She recorded the 1,000th kill of her collegiate career on September 15 at California and then reached the same milestone in digs against Mercyhurst on October 26. Gomish ranked eighth in the conference in kills per set (3.49) and 11th in points per set (3.71). For her collegiate career, she totaled 1,195 kills and 1,046 digs.

In December of 2018, Gomish was one of 14 recipients across the country to be awarded with the 2018 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship. The scholarship provides the opportunity for up-and-coming volleyball coaches to attend their first AVCA Convention with the scholarship money used to pay for Convention registration and hotel costs. Now in its 10th year, a selection committee reviews the applications and makes their decisions based on academics, contributions to the sport of volleyball on and off the court, a professional letter of recommendation, and a personal written submission outlining their desire to attend the AVCA Annual Convention and their aspirations in coaching.

A native of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, Gomish played volleyball and softball at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Exercise Science.
