Paul Lyon begins his second season as a volunteer assistant at Bloomsburg University. Lyon comes to Bloomsburg after spending four seasons as an assistant at Central Michigan.
Lyon wrestled one season at Central Michigan before transferring to Cerritos College in Los Angeles, Ca. where he was a JUCO runner-up at the national championships.
While assisting at CMU, Lyon helped coach 15 Mid-American Conference champions; nine All-Americans; two Academic All-Americans and was a part of three MAC regular season and tournament championships.
As a high school wrestler in Michigan he was a three-time Michigan State Champion and an NHSCA All-American.
