Elijah Morgan has served as the Director of Athletic Operations and Summer Camps at Commonwealth University, Bloomsburg since the summer of 2021,  Here, he plays a central role in orchestrating the behind-the-scenes operations that support the Huskies’ vibrant athletics program, and the day-to-day operations of all things Husky Athletics! Elijah Brings over 10  years of athletics experience to Bloomsburg from Commonwealth University, Mansfield, where he served integral roles through the athletic and admissions offices since 2014.

In his role, Elijah oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of summer athletic camps, ensuring they are not only well-organized and safe but also enriching and memorable for every participant. He is also responsible for coordinating facility operations, logistics, event scheduling, and staff management, and work study management. All essential components that enable student-athletes, coaches, and spectators to experience top-level collegiate athletics.

Elijah’s contributions extend beyond operational logistics. He is known for his commitment to student growth, both on and off the field, fostering environments where leadership, sportsmanship, and personal development thrive alongside competitive excellence. He brings not only competence to the position, but an over the top energy and excitement for what he does. Whether coordinating complex multi-sport events, ensuring adherence to compliance and safety protocols, or building partnerships with community organizations, Elijah is a steady force ensuring that athletics at Bloomsburg operate at the highest possible standard.

Elijah has played in an integral role in the following projects:
  • Development and operation of the 100% fund raised Horst Nutrition Center and the partnerships that accompany them
  • Promote fund raising growth by enhancing the processes and procedures of Summer Camps and Clinics
  • Facility enhancement of both the baseball and softball score board with pitch clock compatibility
  • Facility enhancement and replacement of the Steph Petit Stadium Turf
  • Enhancing facilities by replacing lights in Nelson Field House and Steph Pettit Stadium with more cost efficient LED lights
  • Resurfacing of the competition gym floor in Nelson Field House
  • Assist with the Husky’s most recent fund raising expedition, generating money through Bloomsburg Fair parking
With a reputation for efficiency, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, Elijah has become indispensable to the success of Commonwealth University, Bloomsburg’s athletic department.
