Tim Freligh joined the athletic communications & marketing department as an athletic communications graduate assistant in August 2023.
Freligh comes to Bloomsburg after spending the previous year in the Pacific Northwest as an athletic communications assistant at the University of Oregon.
While in Eugene, Freligh directly worked as the primary contact for the women’s lacrosse and acrobatics & tumbling programs while assisting in various capacities with all 18 Division I programs. With the Ducks, he was responsible for preparing game notes and helping update record books for women’s lacrosse, acrobatics & tumbling, football and baseball.
In that year, Freligh played a crucial role in assisting with the hosting of several key events, including the NCAA Super Regionals, NCAA Volleyball Tournament First Round, NIT and WNIT.
Freligh covered the return of the Oregon Acrobatics & Tumbling program to the NCATA National Championship meet for the first time since 2019.
Before moving west, Freligh served as a student assistant at North Carolina State for three years. Freligh was the on-site contact for men’s and women’s tennis, helping facilitate game day operations. Freligh also worked closely with the volleyball and softball programs during that time.Â
A native of Kennett Square, Pa., Freligh received a bachelor of science degree in sport management from North Carolina State University in May 2022.
