Junior Tyler Madeira entered the weekend with two goals with two assists in his first 29 career games but doubled his career output as he finished with two goals and two assists in two victories for the Huskies over a three-day span. Madeira assisted on Bloomsburg's first two goals during Friday's 4-2 victory at Mercyhurst University. The win was just the second win by the Huskies over the Lakers in 19 career meetings between the two schools. Then, on Sunday, Madeira scored both Bloomsburg goals in the span of 1:54 in the second half with the latter coming with 15:19 left in regulation as the Huskies rallied for a stunning 2-1 win over West Chester - the Golden Rams' first PSAC loss since September 10, 2016. The two goals marked the first career multiple-goal effort for Madeira and his final goal of the afternoon was his first collegiate game-winning tally. Madeira entered the season with one goal in his first two years with the Huskies but now leads the team in scoring with three goals and two assists for eight points.
