Under Marvin's guidance, the men have finished second at the conference championships in three of the past four seasons, after not finishing above third place since 1968. For his efforts, Marvin was named PSAC Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year in 2013, 2014, and 2016.

After a very successful 2015-2016 season, the Huskies have now broken every men’s team record under since his arrival. They have had 131 record-breaking performances and have 166 times on the All Time Top Ten list. Only 21 times now remain on the list that were posted prior to Marvin’s coaching career. His swimmers have established five PSAC conference records, won six individual PSAC titles, and grabbed two PSAC relay victories. Seven swimmers have been named NCAA All-American and two swimmers have been named PSAC Freshman of the Year.  Juan Castaneda (2011), Jake Harner (2015), and Sam Feiser (2016) were named BU Outstanding Male Underclass Athletes of the Year, while Castaneda (2013) and Harner (2016) were named BU Outstanding Male Senior Athletes of the Year.

During the 2015-16 season, the Huskies posted a dual meet record of 7-2, dropping just the first meet of the year to 29-time PSAC champion West Chester and to Division I Lehigh University. The team set 14 school records, several of them multiple times throughout the season. Bloomsburg was also ranked has high as #10 nationally before ending up 18th at the NCAA championships.

At the 2015-16 PSAC Men's Championships, the Huskies' Sam Feiser won the 50 free and the 100 butterfly with Jake Harner winning the 100 breaststroke. The men also won the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays for their first relay wins in 42 years. They set five PSAC Championship meet records and rolled up a team record 801 points, over 200 more than the previous season.  Eight men were named All-PSAC and the team grabbed 32 All-PSAC awards.

Eight swimmers went on the represent Bloomsburg at the NCAA championships in Indianapolis. Jake Harner led the way by finishing 5th in the 100 breaststroke and 10th in the 200 breaststroke, while Sam Feiser finished 15th in the 50 free. The Huskies also advanced four relays to finals, winning two consolation finals and finishing 10th and 11th in two others. Harner, Feiser, Ryan Paisley, A.J. Brady, Eric Usbeck, Kyle Dix , and Josh Grzech all gained NCAA All-American honors.

In 2014-15, the Huskies posted a solid 6-2 dual meet record with their only losses coming to PSAC champion West Chester and PSAC runner-up IUP.  Along the way, they established 12 team records and repeated as champions at the Akron Invitational in December, rolling up an incredible 1893 points.

At the 2015 PSAC Championships, the men finished third, falling just short of their season goal of three-peating a second place finish. The third-place ranking had been achieved only one other time in program history - back in 1974. During the meet, they posted five top-three individual finishes and four top-three relay finishes. They had a total of 23 championship final swims and eight men walked away with 21 All-PSAC awards. Over the course of the year, they put 59 new times on the BU All Time Top Ten list.

In 2013-14, Marvin guided the BU men to the runner-up spot for the second straight year at the PSAC Championships finishing with a school record 581.5 points. At the meet, the Huskies set 15 of a possible 19 school records, including records in four of the five relay events. The Huskies also crowned an event champion when Jake Harner won the 200 IM title, lowering his own school record by more than a second. The Huskies were ranked as high as #15 in the College Swimming.com national poll and also won its first Akron Invitational title in December topping a field that included several Division I schools.

In 2012-13, Marvin led the Huskies men's team a second place finish at the PSAC championships, the team's best finish in 45 years, with Harner being named the PSAC Men's Freshman Swimmer of the Year.
