SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV-- Freshman Tyler Phillips (Ephrata/Ephrata) (Ephrata/Ephrata) scored two goals to lead Bloomsburg University over Shepherd 2-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday night in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Phillips put the Huskies (3-1-2) up 1-0 at the 13:21 mark on a pass from fellow freshman Bryce Shaffer (Gettysburg/Gettysburg) (Gettysburg/Gettysburg Area). The two hooked up again in the second half at 61:59 when Shaffer fed Phillips for his second goal of the game and fourth of the season to put Bloomsburg up 2-0.

Senior David Leiendecker (Easton/Easton) (Easton/Easton) went all 90 minutes in the net for the Huskies recording seven saves.

Bloomsburg travels to East Stroudsburg next Tuesday to take on the Warriors. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
