BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team beat Wilkes University on Wednesday by a 9-0 score.

The Huskies jumped out to a 3-0 after doubles with the team of Andrea Malatesta (Berwick, Berwick) and Kristen Bonito (Bridgewater, MA, Coyle Cassidy Memorial)  pulling out a 9-7 win. In singles action, Alison Carney (Muncy, Warrior Run)  scored a three-set victory at number three singles winning 6-1,4-6, 10-5.

Bloomsburg, 6-3, will host Cheyney on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
