Bloomsburg- The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team posted a 9-0 win over Cheyney on Thursday. 

Bloomsburg opened up a 3-0 lead after doubles including an 8-0 victory from Sarah Fisher (Cherry Hill, NJ, Cherry Hill West) and Danielle Walsh (Fairfield, St. John The Baptist)  at second doubles. 

In singles Bloomsburg ran away with the match sweeping all six matches. Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry, Delaware Valley) at first singles won her match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Andrea Malatesta (Berwick, Berwick)  put away the victory with the final match winning by a score of 6-0, 6-0. 

Bloomsburg University,7-3, will host East Stroudsburg Friday at 3:30 p.m.
