BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team shut down rival Kutztown 7-2 on Tuesday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup.
 
The Huskies jumped out to a 2-1 edge over the Golden Bears after winning two out of the three doubles. One of those victories came from Kristen Bonito (Bridgewater, MA, Coyle Cassidy Memorial) and Katie Hasyn (Lansdale, North Penn) at second doubles, 8-0. 

In singles, Bloomsburg took five out of the six singles. One of those victories came from Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry, Delaware Valley)at second singles winning 6-1, 6-2. Emily Palko (McMurray, Peters Township), playing three singles, won 6-4, 6-1. 

The Huskies, 11-3, 5-0 in the PSAC East, will be back in action on Saturday hosting Charleston at 10:30 a.m.
