BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team beat East Stroudsburg on Friday by a score of 7-2. 

The Huskies trailed 2-1 after doubles play with the team of Kristen Bonito (Bridgewater, MA, Coyle Cassidy Memorial)and Andrea Malatesta (Berwick, Berwick) getting Bloomsburg's only win at number three by a score of 8-3. 

Bloomsburg rallied for the win by sweeping all six singles matches. Katie Hasyn (Lansdale, North Penn) posted a three-set win at number one falling 7-5 in the first set and winning the next two,6-2,6-1. Emily Palko (McMurray, Peters Township) at three singles, also won in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. 

The Huskies, now 8-3, 2-0 in the PSAC East, play at West Chester on April 7.
