Game Two: Bloomsburg 4, Edinboro 0

The Bloomsburg University softball team defeated Edinboro 4-0 in the opening round of the 2010 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at 
Jan Hutchinson Field Friday afternoon.
The Huskies struck first when 
Nikki Shiko (Shamokin, Southern Columbia) scored on an error in the bottom of the first inning. Bloomsburg would add two more runs in the second on an RBI triple by 
Lori Neyhard (Bloomsburg, Central Columbia). She later scored on a 
Casey Massimini (Downingtown, Downingtown West) bunt. Neyhard plated another run in the third when she singled to drive in 
Sam Pientack (Archbald, Valley View). The four runs would be more than enough for 
Shavaun Fisher (Coplay, Allentown Central Catholic), who struck out 11 batters and allowed just two hits en route to her 24th win of the season. 
Game Three: Bloomsburg 3, Kutztown 2

Bloomsburg University advanced to the title game of the 2010 PSAC softball championships with a 3-2 win over Kutztown in game three of the tournament.
The Huskies took a 1-0 lead in the third inning. With one out 
Danielle Lazorka (Williamsport, Jersey Shore)singled and 
Lacy Mauro (Jersey Shore, Jersey Shore) doubled putting runners at second and third. After 
Emily Young (Nescopeck, Central Columbia) reached on an error to load the bases, 
Mandy Koch (Dauphin, Central Dauphin) reached on a fielder's choice with Lazorka scoring the first run of the game.
Bloomsburg made it 3-0 in the fourth when, with two outs, 
Casey Massimini (Downingtown, Downingtown West)reached on a single, stole second and scored on a single by 
Nikki Shiko (Shamokin, Southern Columbia), who went to second on the throw home. Lazorka then followed with a single scoring Shiko for a 3-0 lead.
Kutztown got one run back in in the fourth when Maria Isgro singled in a run, then made it 3-2 when Krista Tedjeske hit a solo homer leading off the sixth.However, Bloomsburg pitcher 
Shavaun Fisher (Coplay, Allentown Central Catholic) retired the side in order in the seventh to earn her 25th win.
The Huskies, 40-4, will meet the Golden Bears, 38-15,on Saturday at noon. Bloomsburg will only need to beat Kutztown once to earn its first PSAC title since 2002.
