BLOOMSBURG- A hit off the foot of sophomore
Bryce Shaffer (Gettysburg, Gettysburg Area)with less than four minutes of play helped push the Bloomsburg University men's soccer team past West Chester, by a 3-2 margin on Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies would add to its lead just two minutes later when Shaffer lined up a shot to the bottom right corner, giving him his fifth goal of the season.
In the second half, the Golden Rams Peter Mais found the back of the net at the 57:18 mark, but was unable to tie up the game after being called off sides for the shot. The next 18 minutes of play was quiet, with the two teams taking a combined four shots.
West Chester tied up the game, 2-2, in the 77th minute after Conor Malarney headed one to the bottom left corner of the goal.
With less than four minutes of play, Miller fed the ball to Shaffer, who hit the back of the net for the game winning goal.
The Golden Rams keeper Peter Weiss ended the game with five saves in net, while the Huskies Lobo Jr. stopped five of the Golden Rams seven shots on goal.
Bloomsburg (3-2-1) travels to Gannon for its next game on Wednesday, September 29. Kickoff is at 7:30 pm. West Chester (2-5) will host NYIT on Wednesday, September 29.
