ERIE—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to 17th-ranked Gannon University by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday.

The Huskies and Golden Knights were locked in a scoreless battle until the 34th minute when Gannon's Afrim Latifi scored off a crossing pass to put the home team up 1-0.

Gannon made it a 2-0 with a goal in the 56th minute, then, put the game away with a goal in the 81st minute of play. The Golden Knights held a 22-9 edge in shots and 8-1 in corner kicks.

Bloomsburg, ranked ninth in the Atlantic Region, falls to 3-4-1, 1-2 in the PSAC, while Gannon improves to 8-1, 3-0 in the PSAC. The Huskies host Shepherd on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
