BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team shut out the Lady Eagles of Lock Haven, 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Huskies improve to 5-4, 4-3 in the PSAC, while Lock Haven falls to 2-5-1, 1-4-1 in the PSAC.
The first half was scoreless with the Huskies holding a 1-0 edge in shots on goal and 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Early into the second half, in the 56th minute of play,
Katie Walczuk (Long Valley, NJ, West Morris Central) scored after tracking down the ball and putting the Huskies up 1-0.
Jamie Vaniver (Holland, Council Rock South) would add the second of goal of the day for Bloomsburg after Walczuk would send the ball from the left side at the 68:21 mark.

Frances Nicoletti (Haddonfield, NJ, Haddonfield) would make one save on the day and record her third shut out of the season, while her counterpart made three saves.
The Huskies will host Gannon on Wednesday, October 5th at Sports Stadium. Kick off is set for 4:30 pm.
