COMPLETE RESULTS
EASTON—The Bloomsburg University women's cross country turned in a spectacular performance to capture top honors at the Leopard Invitational held at Lafayette College.
The Huskies won the team competition besting 11 other teams, including seven Division I programs, including Pitt, Lehigh, American, LaSalle and Lafayette. Bloomsburg finished with 65 team points compared with 101 for Lafayette and 111 for American.
Vicki Davis (New Ringgold/Schuylkill Haven) again led the Huskies women finishing first overall in the field of 108 with a time of 20:47 edging out a runner from American by one second. The win was the fourth of the year for Davis.
Following Davis to finish line were finishing
Kaitlyn McShay (Springfield/Cardinal O'Hara) and
Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove/Bishop McDevitt) in 10th place in 22:25 and 11th place in 22:27 respectively.
Rounding out the top five for the team were Martina Drew in 20th with a time of 22:48 and Harm in 23rd in 22:52.
The Huskies will compete next week at the PSAC Championships at Lock Haven.
