LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - After recording a new personal record on Saturday, sophomore Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) is the women's PSAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Magagna took second place overall at the Lock Haven Open/Invite, finishing as the top collegiate finisher in the field. The sophomore shaved 12.5 seconds off her previous best 6K time to 21:25.7. Magagna previously established her personal best mark in the same race last year. The sophomore's efforts helped the Huskies finish third at the event. It is the third Runner of the Week award Magagna has received in her time competing for Bloomsburg.

Bloomsburg cross country returns to the course on Saturday, October 17, as the host of the Bloomsburg Invitational.
