BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University women's tennis stayed unbeaten in conference play with an 8-1 win over East Stroudsburg on Sunday afternoon.

The Huskies swept through the singles matches with the team of Sarah Fisher (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) and Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry/Delaware Valley) getting an easy 8-1 win at number three.

In singles play the Huskies won five of the six matches. Michelle Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) at number one and Kristi Twardziak (Somerdale, NJ/Triton Regional ) both winning in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Fisher and Danielle Walsh (Fairfield, CT/St. John The Baptist) were nearly as perfect winning at four and five respectively by identical 6-1, 6-1 scores.  Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry/Delaware Valley) was the Huskies other winner in singles play winning 6-1, 6-2 at number three.

Bloomsburg improved to 11-3, 5-0 in the PSAC East, with the win. The Huskies visit Kutztown on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
