QUAKERTOWN—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team fell to Hofstra University 7-0.  Today's matches were played at the Tennis Zone & Fitness Center. 

Hofstra swept the doubles matches, earning the lone doubles point as the Huskies entered singles play trailing, 1-0.

Michelle Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) had a close match at first singles as she lost by a break in both sets, 6-3, 6-4. Emily Palko (McMurray/Peters Township) also had a competitive match at the number two spot.  After losing by a break in first set 6-4, Palko dropped the second set 6-2.  The Huskies won just seven games in the final four matches. 

Bloomsburg is not in action again until next month when the Huskies travel to Hilton Head, SC for spring break.  BU opens play in Hilton Head against West Liberty on Sunday, March 11th at 6:30 p.m.
