HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Winston Salem State.  Michelle Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) was Bloomsburg's sole double-winner as she earned victories at first doubles and singles.

Emily Palko (McMurray/Peters Township) and Perez teamed up for a decisive 8-1 victory at first doubles.  Winston Salem State would win at second and third doubles, taking a 2-1 lead entering singles play.

At first singles, Perez won a tight two-setter 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.  With the win she improves to 4-0 on this year's spring break trip.  Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) was Bloomsburg's other singles winner as she cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 win at sixth singles. 

Bloomsburg will be back in action on Wednesday, March 14th as they take on Ithaca College at 3:00 p.m.
