HILTON HEAD, SC—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team beat Ithaca College on Wednesday by a score of 7-2.
Bloomsburg took a 2-1 lead after doubles with the number one team of
Michelle Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and
Emily Palko (McMurray/Peters Township) scoring an 8-0 win over the top team from Ithaca.
In singles action the Huskies won five of the six singles matches with Perez, Palko, and Daniele Walsh all winning in straight sets.
Bloomsburg will face Missouri Valley on Thursday in its final match of spring break.
