LEWISBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team continued the fall portion of its season on Friday at the Bucknell Fall Invitational featuring Division I teams from Bucknell, Villanova, Colgate and Mount Saint Mary's.
 
In “A” Doubles action the team of Natalie Greenholt (Hanover/South Western) and Nicole Slagle (Irwin/Penn Trafford) lost to the team from Villanova, 8-3, while Michelle Perez (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Aida Diop (Allentown/Emmaus) lost 8-1 to a second team from Villanova.
 
In “B” Doubles the Huskies team of Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and Caitlin Flynn (Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) lost 8-6 to a third team from Villanova, while Alyssa Liples (Swoyersville/Holy Redeemer) and Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) fell 8-3 to the team from Bucknell.
 
In “A” Singles Diop lost to Colvin of Bucknell 6-1, 6-1, while Perez lost to Cioffi of Bucknell 6-2, 6-2. In “B” Singles action Greenholt posted a 6-4, 6-3 win over Morgan of Bucknell to advance in the winner's bracket with Slagle losing 6-3, 6-2 to Deane of Mount Saint Mary's.
 
In “C” Singles play Bloomsburg's Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) posted a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4, three-set win over McQuade of Villanova, while Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) lost 6-2, 6-0 to Smith of Mount Saint Mary's with Flynn losing 6-0, 6-0 to Rossi of Mount Saint Mary's. Liples also dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Nguyen of Mount Saint Mary's.
 
Play will continue on Saturday in Lewisburg.
