BLOOMSBURG—The sixth-ranked Bloomsburg University field hockey team lost to fourth-ranked West Chester 2-0 on Saturday night in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) matchup at Sports Stadium.
West Chester outshot the Huskies 4-0 in the opening 35 minutes of play. The Golden Rams had the first scoring chance at the 31:30 mark when Kelsi Lykens was awarded a penalty stroke. Bloomsburg goalie
Megan Eppley (Camp Hill/Camp Hill) though made a pad save to keep it scoreless.

A minute and 15 seconds later West Chester grabbed a 1-0 lead when Megan Callanan scored her eighth goal of the season.

In the second half the Golden Rams added to their lead when Lykens made a pass up field to Callanan who scored for the second time on the evening.

 Bloomsburg is now 8-5, 4-2 in the PSAC, while West Chester goes to 9-4, 4-2 in the PSAC. The Huskies play at Seton Hill on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
