Video Stream

The Bloomsburg women's basketball team will travel to Wilmington, Delaware to play Wilmington University on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Huskies are searching for their second consecutive victory to begin the season after opening the 2013-14 campaign with a 97-57 win at Chestnut Hill last Saturday.

The Huskies received production from nearly the entire roster at Chestnut Hill with five players scoring in double figures. Catherine Noack (Bethlehem/Liberty) led the way with 15 points while Lauren Nealon (Ambler/Archbishop Wood) (13), Adreana Sadwoski (12), Nikki Tamanosky (Camp Hill/Cumberland Valley) (12), Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) (11) and Morgan Klunk (Felton/York Catholic) (11) all had double figures in the season-opener. Ford narrowly missed a triple-double, finishing with 11 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. In all, the Huskies shot over 52 percent from the floor while holding Chestnut Hill to 32 percent.

Wilmington (0-1) opened its schedule with a road loss at Lock Haven last Saturday, 84-74. The Wildcats led by six points with 7:23 to play, but Lock Haven responded with a 9-1 run to take the lead and never looked back. This Saturday's game will be the home-opener for the Wildcats.

Head coach Bill Cleary scored his 100th victory on the sidelines for the Huskies last weekend and returns to Wilmington where he was at the helm of the Wildcats for five seasons, turning around the program from two wins the season prior to his arrival to a school-record 22 wins in 2007-08.

Saturday's game will not have live stats available, but a video stream of the contest will be provided through Wilmington University at the link above.

After Saturday, the Huskies finally debut at Nelson Field House on Wednesday, Nov. 20 vs. Millersville. The Millersville game, the PSAC opener for the top two teams in the preseason conference coaches' poll, is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff.
