MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Bloomsburg Universtiy women's tennis team came up one point short as Millersville claimed a 5-4 win over the Huskies in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's tennis action.

Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and Caitlin Flynn (Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) won at third doubles for BU's only win before the beginning of singles play.  The pairing scored an 8-6 win over Alexandra Heller and Nicole Daake.

Both teams then won three singles matches with Bloomsburg winning each of the even numbered seeds.

At second singles, Natalie Greenholt (Hanover/South Western) was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over Kelsey Waite.  Flynn needed three sets, but picked up her second victory of the afternoon, defeating Daake 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at fourth singles.  Reitenauer also notched a second win in the match, claiming a 6-0, 6-2 win over Heller.

The Huskies dropped to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the PSAC. Millersville is 5-9 and 2-1.

BU hosts Shepherd at 3 p.m. on April 1.
