The Huskies threatened in the second loading the bases with one out. But Lock Haven pitcher Brianna Jennings got the next two batters to end the threat.

With two outs Mandi Black (Huntington Mills/Northwest Area) and Raychelle Kuhns (Williamsport/Loyalsock) got back-to-back singles, but Jennings got a pop up to end the inning.

Paine suffered the loss allowing eight hits and striking out three.

In game two the Huskies, who had two runners on in the first, broke through with a pair of runs in both the second and third innings.

Lea Rehm (Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg) and Black started the inning by reaching on errors.  Leann Bell (Lanse/West Branch) then delivered a single up the middle scoring Rehm with Black moving to third. Kuhns then grounded out to the pitcher with Black scoring the second run.

In the third Fredell started the inning getting hit by a pitch with Belko following with a single to runners at second and third. Lock Haven rallied and scored all seven of its runs in the fifth inning off of Black. The Lady Eagles put together four hits, had two reach via errors and had one player walk and one get after being hit by a pitch to score their runs.

Bloomsburg did get two runs back in the sixth. Baer and Kayla McHale (Dillsburg/Northern) singled with Fredell driving in both runners with a double to make it 7-6. Belko, though, struck out to end the threat.
