Men's Soccer Drops Heartbreaker to Seton Hill

GREENSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team lost to Seton Hill, 3-2, on Friday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game with the Griffins scoring the game winner in the 90th minute.
 
The Griffins grabbed the lead in the game with 1:10 left in the first half when Matt Luchetti scored off a Divleer Chaggar assist. Seton Hill made it a 2-0 lead in the 62nd minute when Bovey Masiole scored.
 
Bloomsburg got on the board in the 71st minute when Fran Miller (Doylestown/Central Bucks East) scored on a penalty kick.  The goal was the 17th of Miller's career.
 
The Huskies tied the game in the 77th minute when Matt Cannon (Wrightstown/Council Rock North) scored unassisted. It's was Cannon's first goal of the season.
 
The team's battled into the final minute when Seton Hill's Joe Tchimou scored on a penalty kick with 23 seconds to play to give the home team the win.
 
Bloomsburg held the edge statistically in the game holding a 15-9 edge in shots and 7-4 in corner kicks.
 
The Huskies fall to 1-2, 0-1 in the PSAC, while Seton Hill goes to 2-1, 1-0 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg plays at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday at 4 p.m.
