Women's Soccer Team Falls to Seton Hill

GREENSBURG—Despite holding a 9-6 edge in shots on goal, the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Seton Hill University on Friday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game.
 
Seton Hill scored the game's only goal in the 21st minute when Allison Mello scored off a Brenna O'Leary assist.
 
The Huskies stayed on the offensive in the second half getting off eight shots on goal in the second half to just three for the Griffins. Bloomsburg also had a 4-1 edge in corner kicks in the final 45 minutes, but SHU goalie Bethany Winter made nine saves to earn the shutout win.
 
Bloomsburg falls to 2-2, 1-2 in the PSAC, while Seton Hill goes to 1-2, 1-2 in the PSAC.  The Huskies play at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
