JOHNSTOWN—Garrett Latimer (Bethel/Tulpehocken) scored the game's only goal and keeper Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) posted the shutout to lead the Bloomsburg University's men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday.
 
The two teams played to a scoreless first half despite the Huskies holding an 11-4 edge in shots on the goal.
 
In the second half Bloomsburg continued its domination getting off 16 shots to just three for UPJ. But it wasn't until the 79th minute that the Huskies broke the scoreless tie.
 
Michael Del Sordi (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) fed Latimer with a long ball that Latimer put past UPJ's Tim Ofman at 78:01.
 
From there Roell kept the home team off the board finishing with four saves.
 
Bloomsburg goes to 2-2, 1-1 in the PSAC, and will host Chestnut Hill on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
